So far 476 Wind Monitoring stations have been established
in 20 states/various territories
219 stations have indicated Wind Power Density (WPD) of more than 150 W/m2 at 30 m hub-height. Detailed wind data of 153 stations have been published through IITM. |

more than 9 states. Besides 62 MW of installed capacity under Demonstration Programme, 1278 MW of commercial installation is in Private Sector in 6 states. |
